Drumthwacket –
Princeton, NJ
KSI was retained to explore structural options for a proposed expansion and our process yielded critical information, which allowed us to accurately design the new structure with compliance to ADA requirements
Hoboken Ferry Terminal – Hoboken, NJ
KSI worked with Hall Construction to provide engineering design and review during many phases of the re-habilitation of the ferry terminal. KSI evaluated and provided reinforcement details in response to existing structural conditions.
Kennedy Martin-Stelle Farmstead –
Basking Ridge, NJ
The Township Committee appointed by Bernards Township has lovingly maintained the Kennedy Martin-Stelle Farmstead since 2002. KSI is proud to be a part of this ongoing project, which required our broad depth of historical restoration expertise.
Paterson City Hall -
Paterson, NJ
Review of existing dome at the top of City Hall. The copper sheathing around the dome was replaced and new armatures were provided.
The Vermeule-Mundy House - Green Brook, NJ
Pre-revolutionary Dutch farmhouse unaltered from its initial construction was built between 1768-1770. KSI performed a site inspection and engineered a report in preparation for the restoration of the house to its original condition and open it to the public as a house museum.
All Saints Church -
Atlantic Highlands, NJ
This landmark building in the Atlantic Highlands has suffered structural damage over its long history. The rectory, storage barn and carriage shed were evaluated for structural stability and restorative structural measures were determined.
Woolley House -
Ocean Township, NJ
Structural review of historic two-story residence and evaluation of the main support members. The house was scheduled for relocation and the structural evaluation required analysis to move the building.
Additional Projects
Marine Science Consortium – Sandy Hook, NJ
Review of existing porch structures and the reconstruction of same. A majority of porch columns and decking were found to be rotted. The columns were duplicated and replaced and the deck restored. Several wood columns were saved and restored.
Noah Hunt House – Hopewell Township, Lawrence Township, NJ
Developed plans for temporary shoring and bracing of various areas of the structure as selective demolition of rotted and damaged elements were replaced and repaired.
Ocean Grove High School Renovation – Ocean Grove, NJ
KSI performed a site visit and structural review of the existing campus and determined structural stability of it's structures.
Emmaus House – Ocean Grove, NJ
Restoration of landmark hotel, The Grand Atlantic into a new facility for the local parish. We provided a full set of construction drawings for the substantial renovations and conforming to today's code requirements.
